Phoenix of the Ice Caves

Any relation to that pokemon-I-forgot-existed (articuno) IS COOMPLETELY UNINTENTIONAL X___X. I didn't know of it until I recieved a comment related to it. Damn it x__x. I haven't played pokemon red in 6 years, so how would I remember? ...*sigh* Oh well. Look at it as a realistic one, if you like pokemon, and otherwise, forget about articunos! :)

An ice phoenix is a brother of the well-known fire phoenix. It is very similar to it's brother, the exceptions being how it is reborn and it's coloring, which consists of vivid blues and whites. When it is time for an ice phoenix to be reborn, it builds itself a pyre and sets itself alight. Instead of turning into ashes, however, an ice phoenix will melt like an icecube would and turns into a puddle of frigid water. Within the hour, a new chick emerges from the water. You'll know when it's about to come because the water freezes solid, and then the chick bursts free.

Anyway, this is an ice phoenix. The stupid program died on me 3 times, one time resizing the picture from 400x500 to a tiny 300x300 x___x. Ah well. I think I'm gonna do either a full-body picture using watercolors, or I'm going to do another element, such as water or wind or earth. Could have a little series going on there! I really like how the bg turned out .
