I Bleed

I've been bleeding for far too long,
Dripping on the ground.
My chilling screams echoing,
Through the Halls of the Ages.

I won't stop bleeding, my heart is broken,
Shattered into a thousand pieces.
Torn apart by the ones I love,
Making me pick sides in their stupid war.

I'm looking desperately for a place to hide,
Hoping I can leave my hurt behind.
Hoping I can bury my head in the sand,
And my feelings along with it.

I'm all alone & alone I break,
Yet I know there's more to come.
So now I brace myself for war,
And look for the light at the end.
