Messing around in Photoshop came up with this. Here's some instructions for it if you wanna try it too.
/ Open up a new document. Size isn't an issue
/ Make sure your colours are on default (press D on your keyboard)
/ Go to Filter > Render > Fibers (settings 16.0 Variance and 4.0 strength and click randomize a few times for a good balance of black and white)
/ Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur (setting of 100 strength, Zoom, and best quality)
/ Then Filter > Distort > Twirl (use a setting between 100 and 140 degrees)
/ Duplicate the layer
/ Click Edit > Transform > Flip Horrizontal and set the layer to your desired style (I chose Lighten)
/ Duplicate the layer you have just been using
/ Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical (You can change the style if you wish)
/ Press Ctrl + E twice to merge down your layers into one flat image
/ Press control + U to bring up the Hue and Saturation window
/ Click the checkbox named Colorize
/ Mess around until you get the color you want

Dude! It's been so long since you put something up!

I really like this, and I might try it out in the next time I make a background in SA-style.
