Thousand Miles

Thousand Miles

I would walk a thousand miles to see your face,
To hear your sweet voice.
In my memories I try to picture you,
But it all fades away.

So in my life which is now empty of you,
I drown myself in booze.
And wake in a ditch, cold and lonely,
But still with faded memories.

God how I miss you, and want you,
And wish you were here with me.
But you're gone & I'm alone,
And no-one sees my pain.

It's short but sad, very nice!

A little constructive criticism: in line 5, there should be a comma after "So in my life". Maybe remove the But in the 8th line.

Nice poem!

Omg! I really love this one, it's quite upsetting but that's what I'm into I guess

It's cool. But kinda grainy, which makes it kinda sucky. The concept itself is brilliant, but you really need to refine the quality of this image.
