Yu-Gi-Oh/Halloween - Mad Malik and March Bakura

Just in time for Halloween (though sadly one day late to be on time for Neon's birthday... @.x) is Bakura dressed like the March Hare and Malik dressed up as the Mad Hatter! This was a request by my bestest friend and net sister Mouko about a month ago and I wanted to make it for her birthday. It was also something great to do for Halloween. Although this is actually a piece based off of a scene in our Bakura/Malik romance fanfiction called Aurora. (No, it's not a Yu-Gi-Oh/Alice in Wonderland crossover.)

While this oekaki isn't a perfect straight out of the fic screenshot type picture, I figured people might like to see the scene in question. Here it is:


"Are you coming or not?" Bakura asked, drawing Malik's attention back towards him. Oddly enough he was now dressed in an oversized black trench coat that twisted and curled sharply at the edges, giving a rather eerie appearance to the thief. However, this was off-set by the fact that Bakura now suddenly sported a pair of large mismatched rabbit ears on his head; one brown, the other silver, just like his eyes were now. He sat in an exceedingly large unusually shaped chair in front of a small round table. On top of the pink and white checkered table cloth was a mismatched tea set.

"... Bakura?" Malik quirked an eyebrow, trying to resist the urge to crack a grin at the thief's new attire. "What's with the rabbit ears? Grew tired of just having rabbit spikes in your hair?"

"You're one to talk," Bakura calmly retorted as he pointed casually at the blond. He then picked up the cup of hot tea in front of him and took a sip.

"Uh...," Malik blinked before making a face. "What's that supposed to-!" All at once, the tanned boy gave a start and gawked at his clothing. He wore a rather ridiculous old suit with an extremely high color. Blinking repeatedly, Malik felt up on the top of his head and gave a cry as he felt a massive top hat resting there.

"Should we have an unbirthday party or a deathday party?" Bakura asked, acting as if he didn't notice how surreal things were, or he simply didn't care. "We don't have enough candles either way."

"What're you babbling about!?" Malik grunted as he proceeded to yank off the top hat before peering down into it.

If I had more room I could have added, just for fun, a Dormouse Ryou, or even Anubis~! (I doubt few people will understand the second one, especially if they mistake the god Anubis for the guy who called himself Anubis in the movie.) Anyway... enjoy what I feel is my best pic yet! [EDIT] Ack, ack, ack, ack aaaaackkk... I noticed a subtle yet glaring error in my picture and had to go back and fix it and reupload it. Normally I'd keep an error in mind for next time, but this one was too big to ignore. How embarassing. X_x At least Sheezy now has the option of fixing pictures like that.
