narusasu ~ from the flames

It's amazing how fast and hard one can fall into a fandom. Initially, I drew this out of mild interest, and as a print for an upcoming anime convention, but by the time I was done, I was totally hooked onto the pairing. Surprisingly, I am leaning more towards NaruSasu, instead of SasuNaru, which I've always thought was "right."

This pic started off as a Sasuke-in-the-shower kinda scene...but then, as I watched helplessly, it morphed into something totally different. As Naruto came into the picture, I wanted to show Sasuke in a state of bemusement, slight vulnerability, and even shock..."what have I done? what have I become?" kind of thing. And while he is semi-falling apart, it's up to Naruto to protect him from those who try to use or hurt him.

There are some problems with the proportions, and I don't really like how Sasuke's face came out, so I might try to fix a few things later on.
