I've had this picture in my head for so long, I'm glad I finally got the inspiration to draw it out.
I was listening to "Respect", by Course of Empire, that's where I got the title from.

The idea of this is that everyone's like a machine, programmed to act a certain way, respond to certain things certain ways. Both have functions and malfunctions. Dysfunctions and systems.
The wires are like veins in our bodies.

I have a special love silhouettes, metal claws and wires. >D

Anyway! I love this! The wires and claws create an atmosphere of mechanical evil and those eyes as well! I love the colours you used

I really REALLY love this one. The blue is so pretty, and I love how the hand and arm and everythingelse came out.

You mean like Oprah? Seriously though, people around where I live, the women anyway, seem to be under the impression that things are okay if Oprah says they are, and that it's wrong to disagree with her and that you have to listen to everything she says. Ugh. It annoys me.
Yeah, definitely programmed.
Anyway, the picture itself is very cool. Like you, I'm in love with silhouettes(Although I don't draw them myself). You did a very good job on it as well. I love the way that the blue makes it glow, in some areas, it gives it more fo a creepy look, especially on the hands.
The wires were a neat touch as well. It's really interesting that on one side they look very neat and orderly, and on the other they're all severed and messy.
