DeviantArt = Evil?

Yes, I do have a DA account but it pisses me off that I got to pay to get full access. So they throw their propaganda at me and others to get them to do so. It kind of pisses me off seeing a ad in the middle of my DA page. So I copied a few well more like two and pondered them. Just what is DeviantART trying to do? What is their motive? Do they support the Illuminati? Are they the casus for everything that is wrong in the world? Lets look at the name. DeviantART now let us break it down. Deviant that means according to Word-Perfect’s dictionary
deviant >adjective diverging from normal standards, especially in social or sexual behavior. >noun a deviant person.

Now we all know what art is so maybe that is just a stand in for something more. Upon looking one could see that ART could be a acronym for Applied Research & Technology. Who’s website has a triangle. Now you are think “So big deal?” Well that triangle could be a meaning for the triangle on the 1 dollar bill. You know the one with the “All seeing eye”on it. Many conspiracy theorist thing this means that something else is in control. DeviantART seems to talk about freedom a lot but what freedom requires subscription? Shouldn’t all men and women be equal and have the same rights?

We know freedom is not free, but when it comes to a website why should this freedom cost? DeviantART prides it’s self on being “free from adverts.” or at the lest the outside ones. And why should it cost 29.95 a year? Sure there are the online games that you got to pay for and the porn sites. But those have a reason for paying....well maybe not the porn sites but why bother with that when you can goole what you want. DeviantART prides it’s self on these things if you pay up.
1.Surf faster without banners and with zero annoying pop-ups!
I do not mind the banners that much, but I have not had any pop-ups on this site. Also how can one surf faster if this is a factor of ones internet speed.
2.Large Thumbnails.
Who really cares? I mean large thumbnails...wow...that is a huge step to the future! /sarcasm
3. Recent Visitors and Friends List
On DA you have a “Friends List” that appears in the lower right hand side of the page. Also dose it really matter who keeps looking at my page over and over? Sounds like some sort of spybot or something.
4.Advanced Journal Features: Subscribers journals have a vast array of exciting features. These features include a personal shout box, personal shout board, personal forum, personal calendar, and personal poll.
Nothing to scream about there. Being only people who paid can view most of that stuff. Also why a personal forum? If shouting about stuff you been doing on you’re page is not good enough why do you need a forum? That is kind of over kill if you ask me.
5.deviantMOBILE
Again nothing major anyway. I believe there are other ways to get you’re art on you’re cell phone. Maybe it is some sort of cell phone tracker used for the greater evil?

DeviantART also seems to have a prop with copyright stuff. If flash movies have sounds or music or images of copyright stuff it seems to disappear. Why should they care? They would not be sued it would be the user. Unless they own the rights to you’re work people could sue them. Who knows....or really who cares.

So all is DeviantART bad?
Yes.

Is DeviantART a good place to post work?

Sometimes, if you want a bigger fan base then sure, but good luck getting followers being everyone one is too busy looking at anime in general, or dark wannabe be evil but coming off as something you buy at HopTopic that is angst filled.

Dose DeviantART support the evils of the world?

Maybe so, who knows.

Ask not what SheezyART can do for you, but what YOU can do for SheezyART. Just trust in them to get the job done. Channel Cat and the other crew members work hard to keep this place running and care about you. So give them a chance.
