Unfortunatly, no its not batman, but its some sort of knight, fighter, warrior something with dark plate/scale armor. Pened and then colored in photshop. if you have any interesting ideas for the background i have yet to decide what im going to do.
Well if you wanted to camoflauge(sp?) him, you could put him in a forest, strands of light coming through and all, or their could be stone behind him, a village, war, chaos, maybe he's about to or already has destroyed something, but I like the forest thing, he looks rather peaceful. Or....angsty >.>
how could someone mistake him for batman? batman wears skin tight latex stuff.
this guys cool tho... the weapon he has in his left hand kinda reminds me of something off of warcraft. i love the attention to detail, too... great job!
Aah! I'm so happy to see art from you again! You hadn't updated in a long while. I really love the details on this one, and the colours you chose, they look beautiful together, but the details as beautiful as they are, seem a little overwhelming...
Anyhow, the one idea I had for a background the instant I read what you said and looked at it afterwards was some kind of barren landscape, perhaps cliffs... Even though his armor would work well in a woody environment too, mostly because of the colours, just the torn cloak and sharp addons to the armor and all makes it seem like he'd be more fitted in an isolated environment.
As for background, someone said cliff, and I can definately see him overlooking a cliff (the wind slightly caressing his cape)....maybe a cliff over a forest?
