My mom is an uber CSI fan (the original one) and absolutely DESPISES CSI: Miami because of the guy with the sunglasses, Horatio. One of the things the two of us make fun of him about is how he's always putting on his sunglasses really slow, in the middle of a sentence, like he's being all dramatic. Stupid is more like it. >.> In one episode, he said/did this: "So her accident.....*takes a good hour to put his sunglasses on* .......wasn't an accident at all." That one's a classic with me and my mom...
So! I made this card for her for mother's day because 1. she'd like it and 2. my dad and I bought her the first season of the original CSI on DVD, which she was ecstatic about. (We watched the first 2 episodes today whilst eating popcorn.
)
...I felt I needed to explain all that because not everyone watches CSI. (And that's SAD.
) And by the way, the second guy in the first panel is Warreck from the original CSI, just because I know what he looks like and I needed a person there. And, yes, I had TONZ O FUNZ drawing all of Horatio's hand motions, although some are pretty much impossible because normal people don't bend that way. But Horatio does because he's special.
And for all those who DO know who Horatio is and what he looks like, I KNOW IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIM!! I drew it all from memory, and I've only seen the guy a few times, and none were recent. My mom recognized him though, so that's all I care about. ^-^
