I put this in movies cause MIYAZAKI IS ABOVE ANIME.
Just try and compare Nausicaa to Pokemon...doesn't work does it? No. It's like sayinbg Belleville Rendezvous is a 'cartoon' *painful shudder*
Anywho, inspired by a friend at college combined with buying My Neighbour Totoro and Nausicaa DVD's while in New York, I was verily inspired to draw as many Miyazaki beasties as I could in one place. There are monsters from some of his best films (note I couldn't fit EVERYTHING in)
See if you can name them all! There are even a couple from his newest film 'Howls Moving Castle'
Colour version is in process of being done

absolutely a beautiful movie. Your right, I never liked pokemon, but if you compare it with spirited away with pokemon, pokemon is absolutely a disgrace for anime

Oh, this is incredible. And I agree, its beyond a cartoon, it goes into dreams. I find these films very powerful in most respects, to the pathetic point I am doing an essay on anime and it's struggle to get recognised, Spirited Away being my main inspiration.
And Howl's Moving Castle, oh dear, I become jelly, I can't tell you how many times I have read that book, my favourite thing as a child being made by my favourite animators is a joy for me.
Thank you for drawing all these wonderful things!
I know, it's sad, but well, we all have quirks.
