In contrast to their gun-toting peers, the Flower-slingers are dedicated to spreading a peaceful message. Called yellow-bellied by gun-slingers due to their pacifist nature and golden ventral surfaces, the Flower-slingers (as they prefer to be called) enjoy poetry, classical music and other cultural pursuits. Vases holstered to their hips contain the flowers that they use to stop conflict wherever possible. The Slinger shown here is on a flora-restocking mission in an Australian gorge. The small mouse-like marsupial at the left is a phascogale, the larger a bilby.
Despite being unbearably goody-two-shoes at times, Yellow-bellied Flower-slingers are not above breaking the law if they feel it is for the greater good. A large number are currently assisting police in their enquiries regarding a series of daisy-related incidents.
