I am the Dragoon

I am the Dragoon.
I leap into the heavens
and down unto my enemies
with my fiery lance,
and pierce their impure hearts
with the swift justice
granted to me by the
almighty wyverns.

It is my sworn duty
to smite the demons from
the lands.
And may their souls burn
in the conflagration of
Bahamut’s eternal flame.

The tip of my lance shall pierce
their tainted flesh and
punish them for their erroneous crimes.
My weapon represents the dragon’s flaming
judgment, swift and decisive; it is my honor
and privilege
to wield this and defend the realm of the
great wyrms.

I leap into the skies
and join my brothers
in the heavens,
and as I fall, I am reminded
that I am but a servant to those
who reside in the skies.

I am the great wyrm’s fiery breath.
I am the peacekeeper in times of war.
I am the executioner of heretics.
I am the Dragoon.
