This actually was a school assignment: the theme was "black". And a sentence the teacher told us got stuck in my mind:
*Black absorbs every other color*
And so I illustrated it. Though "Black" is now literally eating the defensless "Colors".
Cheap watercolor and colored pencils on A3 regular white paper (and quite a crappy one, I must say...)

That's beautiful. I'm really stunned. Terrific watercolors, wonderful lineart, and an almost hilarious concept (in a sadistic way, of course).

You should do something similiar, but with a white one and a black one trying to eat each other like an orobouros.
