Obi-wan and Boga

WOHOO!

Ok, so this image is a spoiler, but big deal.
Just recently I found out about this cool new creature in Ep 3. Now for me, Star Wars means 2 things: Obi-wan Kenobi, and cool Creatures.
I just HAD to draw it.

Yes, I know, I have a big scholarship portfolio due, and yes I should be working on that and my commissions... but dear god! I found out that Obi rides Boga!!!! I saw it in the insiders, and just the other day my crazy sis bought me $80 worth of Obi-wan Ep 3 toys, and I got the Boga, and I just FLIPPED! And SHE'S FEMALE!!!!!!
How awesome is THAT?!?!

So anyhow, I might have messed up the colors a bit on Boga... my only 2 refs were the toy and one image from the comic book supplied by the "insider"... so I had to go with what I thought was more reliable.

I really like how this came out. I was working with an design-like background, and just then I figured to ditch it and actually make a BG for it... and in the 1 page I had for ref, Boga scales a wall of a canyon (she got suction cup on her fingers!), and I figured- well, my image looks Rodio-ish, so why not work with it?

I lurves Boga.
Oh, and this has lead me to start developing a lieca reel for this crazy Obi-wan short I had in mind. Someone stop me, I'm doing too much work again!
