Stitches

Can you see it now?
I’m falling apart
I’m losing my head,
My mind, my heart
The stitches are snapping
They’re coming undone
Too many fractures
To hope that we’ve won
Your smiles are endless
They empty your eyes
Such an unhappy mask
That you wear in disguise
There go my arms,
My legs, my soul
Such a huge heartache
Could swallow me whole
Can you see it now?
I’m ripping them out
These thousands of stitches
Just smother my doubt

Dusk Whisper Says:

I kind of like the way that the stanzas aren't actually seperated, except by mouth, or thought, when one reads the poem. It creates an interesting and unique flow.
