In Another Life

In Another Life

In another life
it would've been me
begging for a minute
of your affection
not to mention
your mind
to free me of affliction
inside
to ride the coaster of our
colliding emotions

In another life
it would've been
me you were in love with
hours of stiff pointless
conversation; at the end
still left with unanswered
equations of the past

In another life
we would've known better
not to follow
trend setters of open ended lies
that blind ours eyes
from the freedom
within ourselves

In another life
we wouldn't have been
perfect lovers
but we would have loved
suddenly above the misery
within us
the sustaining fever of lust
to take each others strife
but that’s in another life.

Okay another poem. This one, was another experiment. I wanted to write something completely attatched to my emotions instead of just words. I don't really like it but yea.
