The Emptiness in Dreaming
Remind me again why I am here
diving into the nothingness beneath me
arms reaching for something to hold onto
but only finding the emptiness in air that surrounds me.
This cold and desolate place I once called home.
Spiral farther down the tunnel of indecisive wishes
hope and dreams, laid on a dead mothers tomb
"what was done to deserve this reward?"
a crime?
a love?
a need?
Only did I trust in your broken promises
and deceived achievements
Now coming to the end
my journey for truth; still unanswered
momentum fading into silent breezes
restoring hope in dreams
and landing firmly on my feet.
Remind me again, of the dreams I’ve lost.

I love it. It sounds like... something only a poet could write about a complicated plotline that would make a good movie if movies didn't distroy such pretty writing. Yeah.
