Threatening Skies Part 1

This is the second most amazing dusk I have ever seen. The most amazing was in January 2003. Bushfires were destroying suburbs of Canberra several hundred miles south, and the smoke filled the sky all the way to my town. At sunset the sky was literally blood red. It was amazing.

These photographs are from early this year, I think. Maybe late 2004.
