Snip from dream:
------------------------------
I was traveling with a guy across a field when we happened into this forest area. We were traveling down this wide dirt road, talking about how we needed to elude this pursuer. Anyway, the guy I was with hands me this large black sheet and proceeds to tell me to wrap it around me and make myself "appear like them." Well, I wasn't sure who "they" were, but I did know that they were out there searching for me. Quickly I wrapped this large velvety cloak like blanket around me, pulling it over my head to obscure my features. No sooner had I done this, when a noise of large flapping wings came behind me and settled into the tall dark trees. It was one of them, a ringwraith, and I could feel the gaze and breath of the fell beast he rode on but I was too afraid to look at it.

"I am seeking some one, perhaps you would be willing to assist me?" He asked in a deep, hissing voice to the man. The gentlemen, shaken, shook his head no and said that he was on his way to a friend's house. So the wraith then addressed me. "Perhaps you, female? Will you aid me in my efforts?"

"No, I fear I cannot." I said, trying desperately to cover my face from view. "I am going to visit my sick sister."

With that, the large winged creature took to the sky and disappeared into the horizon in search by himself. Both of us then swiftly traveled down the road until we came to a large field where a house and barn stood. We ducked inside the barn, and I cast off my covering believing this place to be safe. We were greeted by two of the house owners, people who I knew in my dream, but not a moment later the beatings of wings were heard again and I peered over my shoulder to see the dark rider descending down. I tried to slowly move toward a stall wall to hide behind so he wouldn't see me, but as I stared at him as I walked, his hooded head turned toward me. He then lands his fell beast, which morphed into a large Friesian horse and he rode it into the barn.

"To your sick sister, you say?" He sneered. I glanced at his horse, then mentioned that Friesian horses didn't exist where he did, and my revelation caused his horse to vanish, leaving him standing on foot. He didn't say anything after that, rather, we just stood there regarding each other. I noticed that he wasn't dressed in black robes anymore, but rather extremely rich clothing with silver and blues woven into the black armor and trim. After gazing up at him in silence, I took his hand and lead him around the house (which had interestingly turned into a rock shop). Then I woke up.

Just a dream induced illustration. I've got more sketches that I'll probably finish up and submit here too. This was one drawing that had been sitting on my HD for ages and needed finishing so I can move on to the next piece.

When showed me MeliHitcock's gallery, admittedly it was difficult to decide on which of the many pieces this user has to feature. In the end, Will you aid me in my efforts? won me over with its smooth painting and detailed background. The concept (rather, "dream" as the artist put it) is an interesting one as well. I suggest checking out the rest of this talented Sheezyist's gallery--you won't be disappointed.

you have very interesting dreams x3
looks awesome the lighting is really well done, and I love how you made the trees. I really like the color scheme too... i love greens :} the only thing that looks a bit off is your skin color... it doesnt seem to go with the green-ness of everything else. Making it a bit darker might help it blend a little more. Other than that it looks really awesome

WOW that is an awesome dream and that is a wonderful picture. This is purely magnificent. But the one thing that seems to prick at my eyes is the fact that you have no hair showing and no clothes other than the cloak. Other than that everything looks great.
