A lonely tear streams down my face,
As I wait in joyful hope for just one embrace.
When alone I am your number one,
When with friends I'm that "someone".

We've shared the most intimate dance,
I trust you, I took that chance.
But yet again I am nothing more,
Than someone, not to adore.

You know I'd do anything for you, anything at all,
And when it comes to you, you let me fall.
I'd sacrifice my life, I gave you my world,
I don’t want any another girl.

You have a long life ahead, don't waste it,
I care for you so much I can almost taste it.
I've been through it time and time again,
Still feeling the same amount of pain.

If only I could have you to myself,
