I expressed to her that I really liked this picture and would love to see it colored, eventhough her pencil shading is outstanding. So I was given the opprotunity to color this for her as a gift. After presentation to her, she preferred me to upload to my own gallery. I was honored. She is a very sweet and caring and so witty I laugh myself almost to tears. I felt a little unworthy, but it made me work all the harder on it.

I chose light colors to convey the emotion that originally intended, running along the same theme of innocence. Also the light colors did nothing to detract from her wonderful pencil work, but only enhanced it all the more.

Colored entirely in Open Canvas 1.1, I only changed her line art to a light brown to make it blend easier with the digital watercolors.
