I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

I'm a little hesitant about submitting this, I'm RARELY good with digital media, and this is no exception. I just went bat shit crazy on myself and did this. Anyways, I hope it's good in your eyes. A *late* birthday picture for Mikoo that I've been working on for awhile now.

I think it's too over-detailed in my opinion, but alot of people have said that it looks good with how busy it is. I was extremely happy to find my new muse: birds. I've always had a thing for feathers/wings ( if that wasn't obvious before I took my gallery down, ) and by the title if any of you guessed it was inspired by the poem of Maya Angelou; I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
I had one hard ass time deciding on the background, first I thought of a cage and all that jazz, then I decided to just make my own. I wanted stars, scratches and stains, so here you go. I hope the color scheme looks good and everything.
