A little rant I made, I got ticked off at these little turds who look at a few deaths and then cry and whimper.
War is hell, get used to it, we can't live with or without it.
EDIT: The comments seemed to have turned into a slight arguement.
To state this: This is my repsonce to ANY more arguementive posts, I will not reply to them anymore. Heres the response.
The point of this was to point out to people that we should not forget our history, its not exactly pro-american hence the numbers of deaths and wars pointed out. The rant is pointing out how people have forgotten, are forgetting, and are trying to forget out human history. The fact is, we cannot live with or without war. We just have to cope best we can regardless of what goes on. I actually am sickened by those who say it is okay to forget and quit it all together. If we don't learn from our past, we are doomed to repeat it. But just because we repeat it doesn't meen we are doomed. People have to learn that the world has a double edged sword... On one edge is war, on the other edge is peace. You can't have peace without war, or war without peace. It is impossible. YES peaceful tactics DO work where they will work, but some times that is NOT enough.

I wonder if I'll be the only person to read that.
But yeah. Nice job. Too lazy to write anything worthwhile.

In a way this makes me sad [not against your argument], that people forget or refuse to learn history. If they just knew how life was compared to now, they may be more appreciative towards what they have.
There's a bit of a negative connotation with the word "War." But people should remember, that most of the time people accomplish change as a result. From the sounds of it, people were willing to sacrifice their lives for change.

I kind of resent yor oppinion about (us?) British, as much as I condome and hate war and violence, I do not like the fact that you said 'you were nothing' yeah... shure, whatever </scarcasm>
Truth is we will highly likley save your 'ass' in WW3 (if we havn't already)
'A little rant I made, I got ticked off at these little turds who look at a few deaths and then cry and whimper.'
Ever seen death? ever had a close personal friend die, have you thought about those who have had brothers, sons, daughters and friends die in war who would hear your 'rant'. No thought not.
I leave you with some quotes, more can be found here or by googeling peace quotes.
Until lions have their historians, tales of the hunt shall always glorify the hunters.

No matter how big a nation is, it is no stronger that its weakest people, and as long as you keep a person down, some part of you has to be down there to hold him down, so it means you cannot soar as you might otherwise.

We should take care, in inculcating patriotism into our boys and girls, that is a patriotism above the narrow sentiment which usually stops at one's country, and thus inspires jealousy and enmity in dealing with others... Our patriotism should be of the wider, nobler kind which recognises justice and reasonableness in the claims of others and which lead our country into comradeship with...the other nations of the world. The first step to this end is to develop peace and goodwill within our borders, by training our youth of both sexes to its practice as their habit of life, so that the jealousies of town against town, class against class and sect against sect no longer exist; and then to extend this good feeling beyond our frontiers towards our neighbours.

Well, the Americans weren't all amazing on their own either, Joey. You say we brits forgot who supplied us, but the war could have beeen over MUCH sooner if America had joined in in the first place! Also, Americans seem to forget that the already-battered brits took on two of the beaches on D-Day (Gold and Sword, I believe)
Most films/games only show the American beaches.
And if Britain never won the Battle of Britain, Hitler could have taken over all of Europe easily.
The German's haven't forgotten what it was like in Hitler's reign, trust me. And the Japanese will never forget Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Saying they will is just naive.

Wasanifu Says:
French just plain suck, yes they did fight good, but they have forgotten.
Germans have forgotten, they say Bush is like Hitler...Bush is no where near Hitler. Atleast the Germans I know, the majority I have met, seen, or heard. Im not saying I know them all.
I spoke to many German people when I was in Germany two years ago, many of them profusly appologised for their part in the extermination of the Jews. Bush is (to a certain extent) like Hitler, he gives the people what they want and they roll over and die for him
Bobandabit Says:
well at least theres one brit here who agrees with you
TorutheAngel Says:
THANK YOU!!! Maybe these hippies and war-protesters will finally get the message!!!
nateoatari Says:
Sometimes, war is "needed". (I personally think there is ALWAYS another way out.) But I do not think that this war was. Bush is called a war monger because he started a war that should NEVER have happened.
Just because I protest against the war doesn't mean I spit at the soldiers and commanders. It's because of them that I protest. I don't want them being killed for a stupid, useless war. My cousin is out there, and I want him back alive, not slain for Bush's need for oil and to get back for what they did to his daddy.
I agree with Wasinifu, until we lay down our weapons, war will continue.
I will agree that calling Bush "Hitler" is disgusting, just like comparing Guantanamo to Aushwitz. They are nothing alike, and it's an insult to those who suffered in WWII to do that.
The French are not useless. Even though I'm American, I'm very insulted by you saying that. And you people wonder why the rest of the world is pissed at us?!
