This is one of my newest Naru-verse characters. Iori is a Missing Nin of Grass, and never actually became a fully-fledged shinobi. He got bored by the constant drills rather quickly, and was distracted by the yammering of his various personalities.

Each persona trapped in his skull has a different Jutsu, and is represented by a specific mask, which acts as a seal and limits the dominance and capability of the active personality. He has six alter-minds, in all. I just couldn't design them all.

This picture took me two weeks, in total. A week of designing and sketching ( I had some help in the form of various fantasy artbooks and a wonderful volume of Japanese Kabuki costumes ), two days to ink, and then another to color.

I managed to finish it within two class periods. [ Which is four hours. ]

;_; Augh, hands.. they hurt!

wow thats really amazing
I love the color of the hair, the blue highlight and tint is beautiful. and i also like the detailing of the clothing. Really bring out the picture and makes me love it even more and that dragon tattoo *drools*

sandpuppeteer Says:

Holy crap, you colored that fast! And damn, is he sexy.

Well, there's a reason for him to meet Shigure...and that would lead to him meeting Logan. After I suggested Grass to you, I realized it would be fitting for Shigure to be from the Grass. So maybe Shigure was sent after him or something. You know, because those missing-nins are such a hassle to have running around. And Logan is always after Shigure. No matter the world.

I want to lick his tattoo.

EdensBlood Says:

Rather interesting place to store his masks. Looks a bit wild, with that hair. And I LOVE the purple striped mask. Gives me the feeling that it's not waiting to be put on for the personality to come out. And, uh, is it just the perspective and the way he's leaning oris his torso kinda short?

edm Says:

Still say you need to get brave on that red mask and add something to it- dark shade, or a highlight of light.

But over all this thing is awsome.. I love it, so detailed..

The hair is so so, but it works for his ethinicity.. I mean, it looks.. flat, maybe some dark striking would be good (or your scanner killed it)

I love how you got shadeing even on his tatoo, that's bad ass-ness and attention to details.

Arg. Details.

ZOMG. That is.. nice. I can't draw masks.. at all. I almost can't tell all that what it is that is on him!! Good tattoo.. nipples are scary. He, and this art, are beautiful.
