~old art, but not too bad...~

I was trying to make the piece as much like the official art as I could. For the most part, I think I achieved what I was looking for, with two notable exceptions. First is the pattern on the bottom of his boot - I surely got that wrong, but since I knew of no reference material, I had to come up with something. The other thing is the fact that the style is from one of the later X games, but he's using his buster, which apparently he didn't do very much/at all in the later games. I also have no idea which game in particular the style of the buster came from, since I only have three pics of him using a buster at all.

And then there's the fact that I think I messed up his left leg...his thigh seems too long (even though you can't see it) and the foot is tipped up just a hair too high. I should have done it more like the cover art from...Megaman and Bass, I think. The one where MM & B are jumping up, kinda back to back...anyway. I've wasted too much time rambling..
