The Easter Cross

This was taken in the evening with the lights off in the church. Not too bad for my poor camera.

Anyway, this is what greeted people on Saturday when they came to the Vigil and it'll remain there, flowers included, until Pentecost.

You can see the windows in the church in the background. It's a nice, smallish church I go to. I was surprised that the church wasn't as packed as it usually is for the Vigil. Normally it's standing room only like at Christmas. This time we had MANY vacant seats . . .
