Divided Family

Now everyone knows that life is hard,
That people can be pricks.
And everyone knows that you should have a home,
And family to keep you strong.

So explain to me if you would,
Why families hate each other.
Why do sons hate mothers and fathers,
Why does my family hate me?

But it isn't just me, I could understand if it was,
I'm not the easiest person to live with.
But alot of my friends, chilled as they are,
Even they have divided families.

And why does one kid always get the power,
Why do they get to rule everything?
In my eyes parents have the power,
It's just the way it should be.

In my case it's my step sister,
Who has everyone wrapped around her finger.
She says jump, they say how high,
And she turns them all against me.

She stole my PS2, she stole my car,
She even stole my rubber duck!!
The things that are mine, bought by me,
And no-one bats an eyelid!

Is it just me that gets this,
Or are there others aswell?
Are there others that struggle to survive,
Living as a divided family?
