I'm drawn in by the tribal markings, and the fact you used traditional media. This warrior has a calmness about him, suggesting one forced to fight for a cause than a sake of fighting. This is more apparent by his companion, loyally perched.
Nice of meeko to state that their are mistakes, but not try to tell you what they were.
