The prototype sketch for my final project in Watercoloring. Professors tend to be anto-anime ANYTHING, so I need to run my idea by him before starting to re-sketch this on my 2ft x 3ft canvas. I personally think it'd be really neat. Original chars, too. Kind of a first for me.
I altered my style for this as well. I used the base figuration of some doll photos for some of the basic features/poses.

I really like the style this is drawn in. :3

._. It sucks that professors are anti-anime lol. I'm gonna be starting animation college in san francisco, i hope they're not like that there.
I can't wait to see this finished!

That's beautiful!
Most art teachers aren't too pro-anime, but hey. It's abstract art, and they need to apprechiate it as such
Anyways. I can't wait to see the finished product -- especially since it'll be in *watercolors*! Sounds like it'll be absolutely gorgeous!

Wow, this is so awesome! I'm only 12, so I wouldn't know about professors disliking anime or anything...
I personally like the one at the top the most. Lotsa hair all over the place! -bricked-

I can kinda understand why professors would be anti-anime since it has gotten a bad rap every now and then. But, like Flowery said, it is an abstract art (depending on your view.)
) Even if you don't do it for class, at least finish it when you get the time. I bet it's going to be beautiful when you're done
Good luck on getting it accepted. Watercolor was the one non-computer medium I really enjoyed (and the one I frustrated the teacher the most with too
