What are Best Friends?

I have a lot of friends,
some old then some new.
But who is my best friend?
What does a best friend do?
They'll tell you when you look bad,
make you laugh if you are sad.
And if you don't get along,
they won't stay mad very long.
When you are wrong they'll tell you,
they just don't go and hide.
And when your right,
they'll be there to stand by your side.
Remember that good friends have got to work both ways,
and you will keep your best friends the rest of your days.
