Lacey Kaoru

This is Lacey. Okaay, forget about the retarded hand for a second. This is one character who is really close to me. Though I originally invented her as a Cirque Du Freak character, I don't think of her as one, because it's with Lacey that I began my twisted and sickly plot for my novel Mortal. I am very proud of Lacey, but her CdF self is much different from her Mortal self. In CdF, she is a prophet of darkness. That is, come nighttime, she transforms into a winged demon who can tell most dark fates. In Mortal, she is one of six "blessed" mortals who protect their fellow man from immortals, i.e. vampires.
