Taira visits Sensei's apartment under the pretense of homework assignments, but really he just wants to know what Rieru's home must be like. Sensei is a very mysterious person, and Taira is nothing if not insatiably curious. So he pedals his bike to Rieru-sensei's home, where he is lukewarmly recieved -- not because Rieru doesn't like him, but because that's just how Sensei is.

Pizza is on its way, porn is on the television (poor Taichan) and the two briefly discuss Taira's parents -- a subject the student is not fond of, and one that Rieru finds equally uncomfortable in his own case. When it's time to leave, the two say goodbye...

But before Taira's bike can even hit the street, the sky above explodes into rain. Sensei beckons Taira back inside from the balcony. Looking more like a drowned rat than a person, Taira re-parks his bike and mucks up the stairs back to Rieru's front door.

The rain doesn't seem to be letting up, and it's getting too late to ride home. Taira is stuck here with the object of his secret obsession, while at the same time not feeling terribly welcome. Rieru, however, has no qualms with letting the youth stay the night with him -- so long as he doesn't hog the covers or have cold feet.

But as Taira lays motionless on his side of the bed in one of Rieru's oversized black sweaters, Rieru-sensei realizes (to his own amusement) that his student's heart is racing far too quickly to allow him any sleep...
