Hitom, Escaflowne, and Van, for my friend Colleen's Birthday...

This took forever and a half, esp. considering it was on a 70cmx40cm piece of bristol board. I can believe that felt-tip pen lasted all that T_T lol. Mixed media - pen, pencil, markers. Although all you can see is the marker. I was gonna add shading and stuff, but then it looked really nice so I was afraid of ruining it

Well, this was modelled after the lover's Tarot card (cause Hitomi's a fortune teller) The man (Van) looks at the woman (Hitomi) who in turn is looking at the angel (or Escaflowne...). Between then is a connection (usually indicated by the couple holding hands, but it's the jewel this time) and purity and innocence, which is usually indicated by nudity (OMFG SMEXX!!! O_O I mean... whoa, where did that come from?) is this time represented by a feather. There's supposed to be two trees, one on the man's and the other on the woman's side, the man's have 12 leaves indicating the twelve signs of the zodiac (don't rmemeber the woman's), but I couldn' figure out how to wire that in so I just stuck the mystic moon and the moon up there instead.
