Catch a falling star..

.. and put it in a glass jar, never let it fade away..

Did this the other day during my animation class. This actually has a bit of a story behind it. My b/f was trying to explain evolution too me and he said it was kinda like someone drawing one thing and over time all the little things drawn would become part of a much bigger picture. So i started this piece with a star (the one in the jar) and just kept adding random stuff too the pic (first a star, then a jar, then many stars, then a dragon, then rabbits?!) anyways, i guess this really wasnt what he ment oh well, it was fun and gave me something to think about and do during class.

This piece is on 2 pages of my art book and was done with copic markers, inkpens, white ink, and color pencils.
