The blurring reality
Of a life once torn in two
The sunken, broken destiny
Of a man who was in love with you
The pounding shrieks
That echo in the restless night
If you wish to rid of me
Then hear my final plight
Remember me for who I was
Not who I am today
Please forget the trauma
And how I left in your time of disaray
I can't fix your lonely nights
Or the pain you seem to hide
I don't mean to cause you tears
Or instigate the fire you have inside
You let your cries speak your words
Your actions speak your mind
I should of been the one around the corner
I just kept feeding the endless lies
At the break of day, I'll be down to rest
You'll have forgotten me
But I suppose that's for the best
I'll cancel out the yelling, forget all the fights
And just remember that the choice I made
I know it wasn't right
