And, yes, all of the heiroglyphics do translate into actual words. His name, Ejipito, is repeated three times across the top, the bottom says "sacrifice" and the big symbols in the background...er...they're a common set that I can't remember the translation for at the moment.
Anyway. I hadn't drawn Eji for a really long time and I wanted to give him a slight make-over. First time I've ever drawn one of his eyes and I like the new version of his ankh tattoo. His other arm has the symbol of Isis.
He's all cut up because he drains his own blood and gives it to the priestess he worships. Um...he's a little crazy. I love him, though.

And the coloring is FINE, woman. I actually really like the flat color.
