VERYYY moody scene. I adore the composition, the tree being the dominating feature. However, the owl, especially its subtle orange oculars, contrast nicely against the mossy somber feel of the scene. Very nice rendering on the feathers of the owl and well done on the mossy green of the tree. One thing I think would enhance this picture is a border, perhaps a 1 pixel black border followed by a soft verrry light grey or grey green border. Would allow the eye to be drawn further into the picture which is certainly what you want with such a masterful work! Great job :).
thats so cool, it really looks like a mossy tree. reminds me of trekking in washington along the creek behind my house. good job with the owl, you did well making so it didnt sharply contrast your background. the only thing that stands out is the black scribbles you did right in the middle, they stand out too much.
It's adorable, the textur eon the bird and the mossy three all all so gorgeously done. As a scen from one of those scary old troll-woods O.o I so envy your skills when it comes to digital painting X 3 Very nice job :3
