The Birth Of A New Senshi ~ Chapter 8

Lila and Rei ran through the streets seeing people running in the opposite direction to them screeming things like: "Get going!" "RUN!" and things like that which did not undermine the two girls at all. They ran past all of the screaming people until Rei stopped, closed her eyes and pointed to a block of flats, "Someone's in trouble."
"I'll take care of it." Lila said running towards the block of flats leaving Rei to take care of the Youma until she got there.
"Help!" Lila could hear a child's voice coming from the top of the block of flats, this made her run faster, she knew what it was like to be alone, she didn't want it to happen to someone else as well, aspecially a child, when she reached the final step she was quite out of breath, but that would have to wait. She looked at the broach in her hand "How do I use this?"
A voice came into her head "Clisha Star Power." It was Rei's voice.
Lila nodded and held up the broach and yelled "Clisha Star Power!" In a series of twirls and ribbons, Lila had changed into Sailor Clisha, she struck a pose then looked at herself, she had longish gloves on with a small watch inserted on her left glove, it had static on it for a moment then a face came up and grinned, "Lila, how's it going?" it was James' face, he saw that Lila was in the middle of something so he quickly said, "Call if you need anything." Lila shook her head and kicked the door in front of her down, and ran into the room, she looked around and saw a man lying face down by the window, Lila ran up to him, "Hello?" she turned the man over seeing blood gushing out of him, most of it stained her gloves which she had to take off, "Sorry James." She said whilst taking them off but noticed that the watch was actually on her wrist, she turned and saw a little girl under a pile of wood "Help..." She said gasping for breath.
Lila put her arm in the air and yelled, "Clisha Sandstorm Blast!" She brought her arm down in front of her level with her other arm, a jet of sand and water flew out of her palms and blasted into the wood, causing it to explode, the little girl however was not hurt by this. Lila then heard another voice, it was robotic and it was saying; "Warning, this building will self-destruct in 10, 9, 8, 7..."
Lila did not hear the rest for she had grabbed the little girl and had jumped from the building. They landed with a thump on the floor below, opening her eyes, Lila was amazed to find that she had landed on her feet and they were unharmed. The little girl however had fainted directly after Lila had jumped. They were about half a mile away from the building when Lila stopped and placed the little girl on the floor next to her while she contacted James on her wrist watch.
"What can I do for you, Lila?" James' cheery face came onto the screen.
"I need a medical team out here A S A P!!"
"Done, they'll be there in 5 minutes." James clicked off and Lila was left, standing in the street with the little girl she had only just saved.
"Lila!" Another face had flicked onto the screen of her watch, it was Rei.
"What?"
"Where are you?"
"Out in the street!"
"I need your help!"
"I've gotta wait for the med team!"
"Well, once they've come, head for the clock tower."
"Ok, bye, Rei." Lila said as Rei switched off.
"Lila!"
Lila looked at her watch, the face there. She looked up, there was James and the med team, one of the meds took the little girl away from Lila, "We'll take care of her." The med took the little girl to the ambulance.
"Need any help?" James asked Lila.
"A little."
"I have good news which you can hear later." James said helping Lila up and signalling to the med team so that they could leave.
Rei's face flashed on Lila's watch once again, "Lila, no worries, I've taken care of the Youma, I'll meet you at the palace." And with that, Lila looked at James.
"You can tell me that good news now." She said hopefully.
"Well, the Queen should be the one telling you but I've just found out which Knight they wanted me to be, they wanted me to be Clisha Knight," James looked at Lila's hopefull eyes but soon looked away. "I'm going to accept the offer," James turned again to look at Lila, "I would never want anything to happen to you."
Lila's eyes softened as she threw her arms around James' neck, "Thank you..." She whispered.
