FAX MoonFeather - WIP

I just got Flash MX and wish to tamper with it a little in the near future. And what better way to do so then to use my FAX, FAX2 and DAX entries this month. I'm evil.

NOTE: I haven't used Flash in several years so I forget how to set things up most of the time for viewing. Bear with me.

Anyways, this is Moonfeather, the current character for FAX this month. I fell in love with her character concept and have had always wanted to attempt a horse/animal run (or walk) cycle...I lept at the oportunity.

This has been drawn by hand and imported into Flash so I could get a rough idea on what it's gonna look like. It also makes it easier for me to draw the pieces in.

It's jerky as hell due to it being only four drawings and those being keys and me not paying much attention to volumes. Not to mention the head is f'ed up but I'll change that when I actually start to redo the keys in Flash and the inbetweening.

Oh, and my brilliance forgot to set the frame rate from 12fps to 24fps, so it's been "filmed" on 12s not 24s. If it were 24, it be much faster and probably seizure enducing.

Gonna nitpick at this all week and hopefully complete it on Friday.

Moonfeather is a cheetah/arabian horse hybrid and her character is (c) to herself while I guess the animation is (c) to me.

Note: I used Ken Hultgren's The Art of Animal Drawing (Construction, Action Analysis, Caricature) Book as reference to the horse canter...cause no way I was gonna guess!
