my parents bought me lotr the two towers last weekend. After watching it 4 times in 3 days, I decided that I was going to take up my long-forgotten obsession with pretty boy elves again.
sooo... I surfed the net, looking for fanfiction (tis my fav pasttime)
and could find NO GOOD FANFICS that I hadn't already read about 1 year ago. ;____; the anguish
sooo... being the dork/nerd/loser/slacker that I am, I re-read a lot of the ones that I'd liked.
"A Very Fire" by Deborah Judge inspired me to draw this. I believe that she has Feanor and Fingolfin's characterizations down pat. Even though The Silmarillion wasn't very clear about this. If you like hot elf men in lotr doing lots of homosexual, incestual angsting, you should run, not walk, to read this fic. However, the story almost made me cry in frustration for its lack of descriptive (or any kind of) sexual acts. Screw subtle allusions. I want buttsex.
<<actually, I lied. There's no real correlation btw "A Very Fire" and my drawing. This is just my mental image of how a silmaril would look if personified.

Ok! I just started reading that fanfic today (even though I've never read that book or know any of the characters or anything about it) and it's really good! ^__^ I'm only at the begining of Chapter 2 right now because I don't like reading a whole bunch of stuff at once, so I'm gonna try to read more of it later on.
