Function: not actually a cell, glucose is also called 'table sugar' and is found in many different foods.
Appearance: pink, fluffy-bodied sugar packet. dresses 'hip'.
Personality: After entering Hector's body during a sugar binge early Halloween night (she was in a packet of Sweet Tarts), Renata (called Rena) quickly set herself up as a permanent resident. Cheerful and ridiculously hyperactive, she makes friends easily and loves a variety of things... particularly loud music and sugar (hey... she IS glucose).
For the most part, Rena really likes her job: helping get Hector up in the morning. However, this puts her in constantly close viscinity to Mayor Spryman, who she has a pretty serious crush on.

A friend of mine wanted me to draw her a character, and since she wanted something to do with sugar, I decided to just make her glucose. Her last name is German for sugar. And seriously, look how cute she came out!
