Unfortunately his beautiful plumage was his downfall. They saw him and at once decided he was theirs. Without a moment's consideration they netted the young Saihvin and tethered him to the ground just beyond their camp. The tether was cruel in more than just binding him to the earth. It was long enough to allow a limited hover but not to catch the wind.
Oh the wind. How he longed to feel its kiss on his wings once again. To be able to soar and ride the currents above the mighty clouds. He now could only dream of such things.
Soon his breast began to ache as he pined for flight. His leg too began to sting and pain him. However he soon did not notice this as it became constant, the shackle digging into his leg ferociously as it if were some savage creature. They did not notice. They only cared for his feathers as they were shed or pulled when necessary. They fed him only what was minimum and he soon began to wither away.
It was under the blazing sun it ended. On a day he usually took to the air and circled on the thermals high into the halcyon of the sky. Today he flew again...but he did not come down.
Yes...this is how Pard ends. Alone. In agony.

But amazing art, as usual.

Poor Pard. You maybe could try to deliver him, and he'd need a hug also. Could you give him a hug?
Kessian Says:
Poor Pard. Alone and in pain is one of the worst ways to go. But nothing lasts forever.
At least now he is free.

Poor guy, I feel sorry for him....
But his plumage is awesome, his tail especially. So beautiful and you did a great job on the wings. :)
