Another dragon from Preston's dream, the one he was arguing with about something diplomatic and confusing. She is a snow dragon, large wings (larger than I drew them, I didn't want them to take over the painting) and furry body. I know it's hard to tell, but I used a variety of colours to make up the shadows on her body, including light purple, light blue and gold. Used the advice given to me on the last dragon piece to try some kind-of-new stuff on this one, but I think it turned out a little messy.

watercolour, coloured pencil, gouache and markers on smooth bristol

This is really nice work, I adore the way you colour, and I don't think she looks messy at all. I like how you did the wing membrane a little see-throughable, and the pose is very neat too, as is the clouds. And yes, It is so fun to shade with 'odd' colours like those For example, I myself love to shade brown things with blue The shadowing on the dragons body turned out really nice here.. Theres only one thing I could maybe critique on - that the 'wing arms' might be a little thin, she should maybe have looked a little more realistic if you did it a little more muscular/thicker. But on the other hand, they might've been to heavy if they were thicker, They now fits very well with her slender body and I also thinks is a question of taste. Very good job!
