This was an experiment for me...something I call a 'micro' piece because normally I paint on a much larger piece of paper...this image was painted 7.5 x 10.5...wee small for me! Also was trying to see if I could lighten my watercolor hand...sometimes I think I lay on my washes a wee thick...and trying to incorporate 3 different elements from 3 of my fav artists (out of a list of many fav artists I have) Amy Brown, Jessica Galbreth & Stephanie Law..

wow, I wish I was that good with watercolor! The trees look very nice. I like the celtic knot, it adds nicely to the dress. Also quite symbolic to you using different techniques as well. I love the lighting in the black throw/shirt.
