The Birth Of A New Senshi ~ Chapter 5

When Lila and James were out of the sight of all the senshi and James' mentor, James motioned to Lila, "Follow me." he pulled candle stick outside of the throne room down as an invisible door oppened, James walked through it, "Come on." he said and Lila hesitantly followed him, the door closed quietly leaving them both in darkness "I can't see!" Lila said tripping over something, then landing on something soft, when she landed she heard a soft "Ooof."
"James! Omigosh! I'm sorry!" she said, standing up in the darkness.
"No problem, you're light as a feather anyway, now, where was that... Oh here it is!" Light suddenly came from the chamber which they were in, the walls were encrusted with jewels of different shapes, sizes and colours, Lila looked around awestruck, "It's amazing..."
"It's nothing really," James began, sitting down his back against the wall, sighing, "I collected these on my travells, then when I came here, I needed a place to just sit and think, you know? So, I made this place."
Lila was still gazing at the walls, amazed at what she saw.
"You won't ever believe this," James started to speak after a silence, "But the senshi once had knights sworn to protect them. Just today, before we came to get you from the air port, they asked me, that's right me, if I would be a knight, to the new senshi you know? I don't know what I should say, I don't even know if I would be any good at it."
Lila smiled slightly and sat down next to James worn out, just listening to him speak,
"No doubt they'll ask you to be a Senshi the way you fought today..." James was cut off by Lila's head snapping up and staring at him.
"You saw that?!"
"Every last bit of it."
"You saw it?!"
"Every punch, you beat the stuffing out of them!"
Comforted by that comment, Lila once again rested her head against Jame's shoulder, closing her eyes.
James looked down at her, he didn't know this girl, yet she felt drawn to her, somehow, someday, he would find out why, for now, he simply had to accept the offer to become a senshi's knight and see how things turned out, he kissed the now sleeping Lila gently on the lips and closed his own eyes.
