SailorCrystalNibiru

My entry for 's fuku design contest.
Nibiru is also known as Planet X and, in Sumerian mythology, the 12th planet (hence the 12-pointed stars and X shapes in her outfit). The gold is because supposedly the Nibiruian atmosphere contains a layer of gold to keep in the warmth. The green represents Earth; according to myth the inhabitants of Nibiru enslaved the early neanderthals and made them mine gold for their atmosphere. (Her dagger looks sorta shovel or trowel like for this reason).
And stuff. I think I worked on this on and off over a month or two, so I have no idea how long it took me. Black ink, and photoshop coloring (the staff and stars were done in photoshop). Finished 2-25-05. Sailormoon c. Naoko Takeuchi.
