The Birth Of A New Senshi ~ Chapter 1

A tall girl with long blond hair and deep purple eyes walked down the dark roads of the small town in which she lived, or rather, used to live. She was taking a last look at everything before she departed. She walked past one of the street lamps, the light shining on her, you could now see that she was wearing a long black dress, the same one she had worn, long ago, on that night. She shook her head to take herself away from her thoughts, she walkedout of the light and into the darkness once more. She was nearly there when she heard a sound coming from behind her, without looking back she sped up her pace a little bit, her dress and hair flowing behind her, when she heard footsteps coming from the same place, she sped up her walk to a jog, when she heard the footsteps behind her advancing, she began to run, which in a dress did I mention was very hard concidering how long in was. She soon tripped and fell into a bank, thinking that the best thing to do was lie there and wait. The person ran past the bank, not noticing her, thinking that she was still running ahead of them, when she dared to move, she noticed the time, she had to leave, so she stood up and walked to the curb, she held her arm out and soon a taxi stopped and she climbed in, "Thanks, Max." The girl said smiling slightly at her friend.
"Any time Lila, any time, shame you're going away and all." Max turned to her "Don't worry, your things are in the boot."
"Max, you know that I'd stay if I could, but I've been called up." Lila smiled slightly, a smile which had always put Max at ease, that day however, was an exception.
"You take care, though, ya?" He said as the taxi began to move, in a short time, they found themselves at the airport. "Thank you, Max." Lila hugged her friend one last time as she was about to leave for her flight.
"Lila, you take care now, ya?" Max always talked with the 'ya's on the end if he was nervous.
"Max, you don't have to worry, you've looked after me ever since I can remember, you've been like a brother to me, I'll never forget that." Lila nodded to Max as she was hurried onto her flight, she looked sad, somehow forlown, Max had never seen her that way before, and he never wanted to again.
