This picture is quite symbolic for me. And pretty much me only. I was totally thinking things that are impossible to explain when i drew this pic.
However, I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Originally, the colours were going to be very dark and gloomy, with the ball being the light source. Now its like the opposite lol.
Oh, and about the dragon.....
I have this one idea (it was mostly for a fic) in which Iruka and Naruto are attracted to eachother (platonically or romantically, whichever you prefer) because Naruto has the Kyuubi, and Iruka has the spirit of a water dragon that was passed onto him at birth....yeah.
So I always represent Iruka now with a dragon

holy wow, this turned out awesome. The light colors of the dragon contrasted with Irukas hair and necklace look perfect. You really out did yourself with this one. I love the transparency of the dragosn water body, its really well done. Seems like your getting used to your new tablet pretty fast.
hmm, A blue flood fill fading clear as it goes up would look really nice here, the bottom of the water just seems a bit cut off.
As for crit I would have to say try making your lines smoother with teh tablet, for example the ends of irukas hair. They seem a bit jagged. I made your layers so you could edit your lines at any givin time, so if you needed to lighten or erase existing lines afterward. Maybe thats why its kinda uneven.
Also, now that you have a tablet start practicing on solid shadows. You have the smoothed out shading down, but you need to learn to mix it with some solid ones. Like having his hands up the way they are, there would be a very strong solid shadow on his body.
Check out some fanart, magna carta is a good example. They are gods and varied shading. try it out, once you get used to it, it can really bring your pictures to a whole new level.
