Love and Sorrow

Love and Sorrow

With love,
Comes sorrow.
As with harmony,
Comes destruction.
Like with friendship,
Comes bitter hatred.
With time,
Comes breaks,
And ripples,
In the time stream.
As with hanging on,
Comes with letting go.
As coming together,
Comes with losing the other.
Everything has an opposite,
Yet everything's the same.
For as you go through rough times,
In love,
Your hands remain intertwined.

This is just a really dorky little poem that I found cramped in my drawer one day. I don't remember how long ago it was that I wrote this poem, but I can tell it's old. So, enjoy my very old, strange, piece of work.

To be honest, it's cheesy. But good writing.

EmberFoxxe Says:

Atleast you're being honest. ^^ I really don't even like this poem, I specify in dark poetry, and this....I don't know what this poem really is. ^.^; But, thanx for the compliment anyway.

PoeticallyPure Says:

I'm prone to like poems that aren't short. This one's a pretty good one though

Trissana Says:

Very well written, I like the emotion in it.
